Most questions we get before a stay are practical ones, and they are easier answered up front. Here are the things guests most often want to know before arriving at the cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
How many people can stay?
The cabin comfortably sleeps up to eighteen across six bedrooms and five bathrooms, in 4,600 square feet on six private acres. It is built for multi-generational families and larger friend groups rather than couples.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is at 10am. If you need flexibility on either, ask us. We can often accommodate it depending on the turnaround, and it is a much easier conversation when you book direct.
Where exactly is it?
On six secluded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, under ten minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and about two miles from Bear Claw Winery. Close enough for a spontaneous run into town, far enough that you hear nothing at night.
What is provided?
Bed linen, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook for a group. Roku TVs in every bedroom. The game room comes with a pool table, a wet bar and a shelf of games. Outside there is a hot tub, a fire pit and yard games including cornhole, horseshoes and three holes of frisbee golf.
Will we have phone signal and wifi?
There is wifi at the cabin. Mobile signal in this part of the mountains is patchy and drops out entirely on some of the surrounding forest roads, so download maps before you head out for the day.
What do we get before arrival?
A full house guidebook, sent ahead of check-in. It covers directions, access, appliances, local recommendations and the practical details that are easier to have in writing than to remember.
Is it suitable for young children and older guests?
Yes, and that is much of the point. There is plenty of seating, quiet bedrooms away from the game room, and separate living spaces so different generations are not on top of each other. If anyone in your party has mobility needs or you are travelling with a baby, tell us the details and we will talk you through the layout honestly before you book.
How do we get in touch?
Message us any time. You are reaching the hosts directly, and we would always rather answer a question before you book than after.
